Working at Merwestaal, the full-service steel supplier, is a speciality. The world of steel is challenging, constantly changing and also a lot of fun. Our team literally shoulders the responsibility every day and knows how to get things done. Our distinctive family-run business has been around for over 87 years, and with good reason!
By now, the third generation is at the head of our great family-run business. We have been passing on our passion for steel to the next generations as an international steel supplier for over 87 years. Steel trading, road plates and steel processing runs in our blood.
We started small (in Barendrecht) and have since then grown from a steel supplier into a full-service steel supplier with its own office and production facility in Moerdijk. Or, as our saying goes: trading, cutting and processing, from a single source!
We employ a mix of seasoned veterans and younger, passionate individuals who all connect with us. What unites us, is our genuine commitment, boundless dedication and comprehensive market knowledge. Being a family-run business reinforces all these elements.
